RSVP for Church
The leadership of Eastside Community Church has been prayerfully considering the safest and most appropriate ways to gather based on the guidance of local and state governing authorities and medical professionals. We are eager to gather together again as a body of believers
Eastside Kids
After much prayer and consideration, the leadership of Eastside Community Church is excited to announce that we will be introducing a modified version of our in-person Sunday Eastside Kids programming. In order to keep everyone safe and to follow recommended guidelines, weekly registration will be required and additional Covid protocols will be followed.
Regathering Guidelines
At any point we may return back exclusively to online gatherings if leadership deem it wise.
If you are symptomatic in any way or you have knowingly been exposed to someone who might compromise your health and the health of others, please refrain from any form of gathering until you can be sure you are not infected and not contagious.
Video service recordings (even once worship begins to take place in person) will be posted online for those who are not joining us physically.
Instead of the auditorium at Conrad, Eastside will temporarily host multiple smaller services at Scofield Church on Sunday afternoons at 1:30 & 3:30 pm.
We love Conrad HS and look forward to being back there, but DISD is not currently renting out their facilities
Scofield’s sanctuary allows us to set up chair clusters by household that increase our ability to socially distance and move about when/if needed. It’s also easier to clean between services.
Services will incorporate weekly pre-registration (1 per household or group attending together) so we know how many people are coming, that we have room for everyone, and we can prearrange chairs to suit individual household/group needs.
Masks are required for anyone three years old and above.
Communion will be individually prepackaged and distributed in a manner which reduces or eliminates contact.
We will be introducing a modified version of Eastside Kids in-person ministry beginning February 28. For more information visit this page.
Home Groups who determine to meet in person are still encouraged to practice social distancing and meet outdoors when possible. We know that every group’s context and needs are different. If you or your Home Group has any concerns about gathering in person, there will be no mandate to forsake digital gatherings in order to participate in community at Eastside. In other words, until further notice, discomfort with in-person gatherings should not disqualify anyone from being able to be a part of an Eastside Home Group.
